Hi! I’m Lauren Kaemming, the Section 47 Communication Chair and Historian. In Fall of 2002, I was inducted into the Eta Sigma Chapter at Illinois College. The following year I returned home to attend St. Louis Community College. There I joined Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and held the office of VP of Service for 2 years.
In Spring 2006, I graduated with 2 Associate Degrees in Graphic Communications (Graphic Design option). Since graduating, I have been working full-time at a small printing company as a graphic designer. I’m also working part-time at Michaels (craft store). Outside of work and APO, I spend a lot of time volunteering at my church and one Saturday a month volunteering at a local food pantry.
I joined Section 47 Staff in the Fall of 2003 as Section 47 Historian. Since then I have also held the offices of Secretary, Communications Chair, and have organized two of the Section 47 picnics.
