Hey, it’s Chris Stanley the Section 47 Awards Chair. This is my fifth year in this position on the Section 47 Staff. I pledged the Eta Sigma Chapter in the Fall of 2002 and as an active I was a chapter president, a reference committee chair for the 2004 National Convention, and even served as a Section Rep on Section 47 Staff for a semester.

I have a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Religion from Illinois College and a MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Springfield. While I was at UIS, I spent time as the president of the APO Petitioning Group, the Executive Vice Chair & Marketing Coordinator for the Student Activities Committee & the VP of Communication UIS Chapter of the Association of Graduate Employees, the GA Union on campus. I stay pretty busy but I’m always willing to help your chapter with any of it’s awards related needs!
